- SMART Simulators have developed an ETCS simulation product compliant to baseline 3.6.0 specifications after working with ETCS Subject Matter Experts to support First Rail’s Open Access Operators to meet and exceed all driver training requirements for the Hitachi CL80X fleet of trains on the East Coast Digital Programme including any unique requirements for UK operation of ETCS. We aim to provide high-fidelity ETCS simulation, listening to customers needs and producing a high-quality, user-friendly product, accurately simulating the unique behaviours of the ETCS Onboard and Trackside Equipment, including the ability to create efficient and realistic ETCS scenarios with a wide variety of instructor functionality available. Customer satisfaction is the top priority of our business therefore we are currently in a period of intense development to further improve the ETCS product and would like to showcase the potential of our simulators to ECDP partners and the wider rail industry at this event, with our customers in attendance to provide their experience of using ETCS with SMART Simulators.
